I have been crazed tennis fan for ages, but it wasn't until January
2001 that I have actually been to a tennis tournament. Well, the "season" started on the 1st of January. That is when
the AAPT Championships in Adelaide began. A friend of mine desperately wanted to go because Pete Sampras was
coming. However, as soon as we got there I saw Hicham. I was absolutelly beside myself. I wanted to go up to him and ask him
for an autograph or a picture but I was too shy. However, eventually I did go up to him. He was so nice. I got an autograph
and also picture taken with him. On few other occasions I took some pictures of him as well.
